Sustainable Land Management in Ethiopia: Mr. Girma Gebrehawariat has obtained his Masters degree in physical land resources from university Gent (Belgium). Currently he is working as Consultant in Natural Resource Management, Geographic Information System and watershed database development. He has served Ministry of Agriculture, Sustainable Land Management Program, GIZ-SLM, GTZ-SUN, Bureau of Water resources and others at different location and capacity for more than 20 years. Girma's dedicated expertise in Land Information Management Application development for Natural Resources Management practices make him distinct among colleagues, He has broad experience in all facets of conducting study, design and formulation of integrated watershed management projects. He is Well-versed in Mid-term and impact evaluation, conduct qualitative and quantitative survey to evaluate sustainable land management projects. Experienced in conducting training, play advisory role and consulting on natural resource projects.
